Freshman Sebastian Elney scored a game-winning goal in overtime to help lead No. 6 Maryland to an incredible 2-1 win over No. 1-ranked UCLA on Friday night at Lugwig Field in College Park, Maryland.

The Terps got on the board first when Mael Corboz scored on a penalty kick with 23:41 remaining in the second half.

UCLA answered as Abu Danladi scored to tie it at 1-1 with 9:30 left.

The game went to overtime and that's when Elney headed in a Tsubasa Endoh cross and the Terps took down the top-ranked Bruins in the 96th minute.
