If you're looking for an answer on Ohio State's starting quarterback in Week 1 against Virginia Tech, well, you're going to have to keep waiting.

However, we do know that both J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones are likely going to play in the opener, as well as every other game this season.

Meyer said on Tuesday?s Big Ten coaches? conference call that he ?anticipates? playing both Barrett and Jones throughout the season.

Of course, Barrett was the Buckeyes' starting quarterback last season before being lost to a season-ending injury in the regular season finale against Michigan. Jones took over and went on to lead OSU to three straight victories over Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship, Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, and Oregon in the College Football National Championship.

It sounds as if Meyer already knows who will start Monday night's matchup against the Hookies, but he is not revealing that information at this time.
