Twitter: See our team's tweets on Michigan practice, QB battle

Our summer football tour brought us to Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Wednesday morning, which, of course, means the quarterback position was a very popular topic.

Who has the edge in the race to start Michigan’s season opener Thursday, Sept. 3 at Utah? Is it Iowa transfer Jake Rudock? Junior Shane Morris? Someone else?

There’s still 14 days until new coach Jim Harbaugh has to select a starter, and when he does make the decision, it doesn’t mean only one guy will take snaps.

It was just one practice, of course, however BTN’s Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith tweeted their thoughts on what they saw under center. It sure seems like our guys wouldn’t be surprised if both signal-callers received time in Week 1.
