Nick Saban wants NFL Draft grades moved back. Said grades delivered on Dec. 15, so some players played not to get hurt in Sugar Bowl

Alabama coach Nick Saban knows his voice is powerful in the college football world.

When he speaks, people listen. Period.
That being the case, it should shock no one that he made headlines during his SEC media days session Wednesday morning.
Saban touched on several topics — the first being Jim Harbaugh and satellite camps — but none were bigger than the comments spotlighted in the tweet above.
Naturally, non-Alabama fans aren't buying what Saban is selling. A simple Twitter search of "Nick Saban" is the proof.

It is interesting timing on Saban's part. After all, Alabama has lost its last two bowl games, the most recent vs. eventual national champ Ohio State in the 2015 Sugar Bowl, following four straight bowl wins, including three BCS national titles.
When asked about the comments later, Saban said he wasn't using it as an excuse for losing to Ohio State, adding that it is on him to get his players ready to play and win.
Nick Saban throwing some players under the bus because they received draft grades isn't a great look.
