If you need a house near Ann Arbor, Brady Hoke has put his $3 million digs up for sale.

Imagine the thrill you?ll get telling dinner guests you sleep where Brady used to sleep. Mlive.com says the five-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home was built in 2013 and has an assessed value of $956,500, giving it an estimated fair market value of roughly $1.9 million. The home has a finished basement and a 1,900-square-foot attached garage. It has 16 rooms and an outdoor patio features a built-in grill and a waterfall.

I know Penn State has a soft schedule-probably the easiest in the Big Ten. Phil Steele agrees. This team should cruise to a bowl game. The only question? How good will it be?

The great Mark Brennan of FightOnState.com has a good story about James Franklin in which he addresses the coach's long-term future. Franklin hints at Penn State being a destination school, as opposed to a "mess" that he and his staff first had to clean up.

"I'm excited because I'm finally at a place that we can stay and we can build it the right way," he said.
I am eager to see where Franklin can take PSU in the next three to five years.

We know Urban Meyer can coach. He also apparently can cheer. Check him out in this video leading a timeout cheer at last night?s Cavs? game.

Hey, ex-Rutgers TE Marco Battaglia likes Tyler Kroft. And, that?s good enough for me.

"He's got great movement," Battaglia said in a recent interview with Bengals.com. "He's a big kid that can move and get down the field. He can get in and out of his cuts with a low center of gravity. He catches with his hands, not with his chest…He's got those intangibles. He gets the game. He's not one of those flight risks where he has no interest…His body can get bigger. And he does a serviceable job blocking."

Did you know that there is a college marketing administrators hall of fame? Well, there is. I?m not making this up. And Michigan State A.D. Mark Hollis has been elected to it.

"It's a great honor to be recognized for work in an area that can have a powerful impact on a student-athlete's experience," Hollis said in a statement. "It's also exciting to work in a profession that allows a staff to showcase everything that a university campus has to offer to its fan base."

Sporting News has been picking the Top 10 league games for the major conferences. Here is the Big Ten?s top 10.

For me, it?s all about Michigan State at Ohio State on Nov. 21.

Good Q&A with former Minnesota TE Ben Utecht, who struggles with memory loss.

Utecht is taking 90-minute cognitive skills training four times a week at a Twin Cities Learning Rx ?because of some of my memory issues. They are like a personal trainer for the brain,? he told the paper.

The oldest former Nebraska football has died. RIP, Ron Douglas, who was 100.

Hey, Northwestern hoops fans: The Welsh-Ryan practice floor has a new look.

InsideNU.com says a year after the Welsh-Ryan Arena court ditched the old stained purple look in favor of a fresh new look, Northwestern is updating the practice floor too. The practice court is adjacent to the main arena, but this past year, it retained that old watercolor purple design.

Could NU?s first-ever NCAA tourney team be practicing on this court in the fall and winter? Hmmmm.
