Indiana Men's Basketball announced today that sophomore Devin Davis and senior Hanner Mosquera-Perea have been dismissed from the program effective immediately for not living up to their responsibilities to the program.

Indiana released a statement on Tuesday stating they had been made aware that Davis was cited by IUPD for possession of marijuana in an Indiana dormitory room on Monday evening. Davis was immediately suspended from all team activities.

The program also said that Mosquera-Perea was present at the time of the incident but was not charged by IUPD.

Mosquera-Perea was arrested in Bloomington in February on preliminary drunk driving charges. He received a two-game suspension following his arrest.

Davis missed the entire 2014-15 season after being struck by teammate Emmit Holt's car and suffering a head injury early in the morning of Nov. 1.

Mosquera-Perea averaged 3.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in his three years at Indiana, while Davis posted career averages of 2.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in one season.

Both were expected to add much-needed depth to the Hoosiers' frontcourt in the upcoming 2015-16 season.
