Day 3 of the 2015 Big Ten Softball Tournament featured three outstanding games, but in the end, it was the Michigan Wolverines who took home the conference tournament crown.

In the opening game of the day, the Wolverines used a dominant pitching performance to shut out Northwestern, 9-0. Nebraska followed that with an impressive hitting display in a 9-6 win over Iowa.

Michigan then closed out the tournament with a dominant hitting and pitching performance en route to a 6-1 victory over Nebraska in the Big Ten Softball Tournament championship game.

The No. 3-ranked University of Michigan softball team used timely hitting and dominant pitching to cruise to a 9-0, five-inning decision against Northwestern in the Big Ten Conference Tournament semifinals on Saturday afternoon (May 9) at Buckeye Field.

NEBRASKA 9, IOWA 6: BOX | RECAP | VIDEO
The Nebraska softball team scored early and often Saturday, defeating Iowa 9-6 to clinch a spot in the Big Ten Tournament championship game. The Huskers will face No. 3 Michigan for the title at 8:20 p.m. (Central).

The No. 3-ranked University of Michigan softball team captured its ninth Big Ten Conference Tournament crown with a 6-1 decision over Nebraska on Saturday evening (May 9) at Buckeye Field. With the tournament win, the Wolverines swept the conference's regular-season and tournament titles in less than a week's time.
