Gordon, the 2014 Heisman Trophy runner-up, and Waynes, a 2014 first All-Big Ten performer, were both selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft on April 30.

Waynes was selected No. 11 by the Minnesota Vikings, while Gordon was taken No. 15 by the San Diego Chargers.

The ex-Wisconsin running back received more of the headlines during his college career and when the two were at Bradford High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin. But, as he said in our pre-draft feature above, Gordon had no problem with Waynes likely being the higher draft pick.

"I am family," Gordon said. "I might go up there. Roger Goodell, he better know, I'll be right up there when they take the little picture with the family.

"If they let me, I got to go up there."
