There were five Big Ten spring football games on Saturday, including national reigning champion Ohio State taking the field for the first time since winning the crown.

Illinois, Indiana, Penn State and Purdue also closed out the spring season Saturday, leaving just Iowa, Michigan State, Rutgers and Wisconsin still in action.

Back to the Buckeyes for a second: Ohio State set a national spring game record with 99,391 fans packing Ohio Stadium. It's safe to say Ohio State fans are excited for the team's title defense.
