Three more Big Ten women's basketball teams opened the NCAA tournament Saturday afternoon.

One day after Iowa advanced to the Round of 32, Big Ten regular season and postseason champ Maryland and Ohio State carded victories.

The Terrapins rolled New Mexico State, 75-57, while Ohio State downed James Madison, 90-80, and Rutgers beat in-state rival Seton Hall, 79-66 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.

MARYLAND 75, NEW MEXICO STATE 57: BOX | AP RECAP
Brionna Jones dominated the inside on both ends of the court, getting 22 points and 12 rebounds to carry top-seeded Maryland past New Mexico State 75-57 Saturday in the opening round of the NCAA women's tournament.

OHIO STATE 90, JAMES MADISON 80: BOX | AP RECAP
Ameryst Alston scored 28 points and Ohio State held off pesky James Madison 90-80 on Saturday in the first round of the Greensboro Region. Big Ten co-player of the year Kelsey Mitchell added 23 points for the fifth-seeded Buckeyes (24-10).

RUTGERS 79, SETON HALL 66: BOX | AP RECAP
Kahleah Copper and Tyler Scaife each scored 21 points and eighth-seed Rutgers used a season high seven 3-pointers to beat in-state rival Seton Hall 79-66 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.
