Video: Wisconsin hoops team go kart racing to Mario Kart theme

It is no secret that this year's Wisconsin men's basketball team is a fun group of individuals.

Whether it's playing video games, or having ping pong tournaments, the Badgers love to have a good time.

Check out this video above, which shows the Badgers going go kart racing to the theme of the popular Nintendo game, Mario Kart.

In the end, it's redshirt sophomore guard Zak Showalter who wins the race.

"I have a lot of experience on the go kart track," Showalter says as he's interviewed by teammate Frank Kaminsky. "Every summer I go out and train, so I was ready."

The Badgers will open the NCAA Tournament with a matchup against Coastal Carolina at 9:20 p.m. ET on Friday night.
