The first day of the 2015 Big Ten Men?s Hockey Tournament featured two games at Joe Louis Arena.

Ohio State began the day with an impressive 3-1 win over Penn State. Michigan followed that up with a commanding 5-1 victory over Wisconsin.

OHIO STATE 3, PENN STATE 1: BOX | RECAP
The Ohio State men's hockey team advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament after posting a 3-1 quarterfinal win over Penn State Thursday in Joe Louis Arena. The No. 5 seed Buckeyes (14-18-3) will take on top seed and No. 13-ranked Minnesota (21-12-3) at 4:30 p.m. Friday in a game televised on BTN/BTN2Go.

MICHIGAN 5, WISCONSIN 1: BOX | RECAP
On a night when the University of Michigan ice hockey team scored five goals, it took a solid performance on the penalty kill to help the Wolverines ward off Wisconsin, 5-1, in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament at Joe Louis Arena.
