The first day of the 2015 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament featured two outstanding games at the United Center in Chicago.

Penn State kicked off the action with an impressive 68-65 victory over Nebraska in the opening game of the day.

Minnesota followed that with a 80-68 win over Rutgers in the nightcap.

Joey King hit six 3-pointers and scored 20 to lead Minnesota to an 80-68 victory over Rutgers in the first round of the Big Ten tournament on Wednesday.
