Iowa, fresh off clinching at least a share of the Big Ten crown for the seventh time in eight years, remains No. 1 in the latest USA Today/NWCA Coaches Poll, released Tuesday.

The Hawkeyes, who won at four-time reigning NCAA champ and No. 5 Penn State on Sunday, is one of 10 Big Ten teams ranked, four of which are in the top 5.

No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Minnesota and No. 5 Penn State join the Hawkeyes in the top 5. No. 2 Missouri, of the Mid-American Conference, is the only non-Big Ten team in the top 5.

The Hawkeyes can make it an outright Big Ten championship with a victory over Michigan on Friday.

Other Big Ten teams ranked this week: No. 10 Nebraska, No. 12 Illinois, No. 16 Michigan, No. 18 Wisconsin, No. 21 Rutgers, and No. 24 Purdue.
