It was a busy day on the Big Ten women's basketball hardwood Sunday afternoon.

Five games were on the docket, including three featuring a ranked team, highlighted by No. 5 Maryland's 93-88 victory over No. 20 Iowa.

In other action, No. 22 Rutgers dropped Penn State, 76-65, Wisconsin took down Illinois, 73-62, and No. 15 Nebraska rallied past Michigan, 75-60.

Northwestern stifled the visiting Minnesota Golden Gophers at Welsh-Ryan Arena Sunday afternoon, beating its Big Ten rival by 21 points, 70-49.

MARYLAND 93, IOWA 88: BOX | AP RECAP
Brionna Jones scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half and had 15 rebounds to help No. 5 Maryland extend its winning streak to 13 games with a 93-88 victory over No. 20 Iowa on Sunday.
