Happy New Year, Big Ten fans! It's been a wild and entertaining day of New Year's Day bowls, and there's still Ohio State vs. Alabama in the Sugar Bowl to go.

In completed action, Wisconsin topped Auburn in overtime in the Outback Bowl, Michigan State stunned Baylor in the Cotton Bowl and Minnesota lost to Missouri in the Citrus Bowl.

Melvin Gordon rushed for an Outback Bowl-record 251 and three touchdowns and Rafael Gaglianone kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime to give No. 17 Wisconsin a 34-31 victory over No. 19 Auburn on Thursday.

Connor Cook threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Keith Mumphery with 17 seconds left to cap a three-touchdown, fourth-quarter comeback in No. 7 Michigan State's 42-41 victory over playoff-snubbed Baylor on Thursday in the Cotton Bowl.
