NEW ORLEANS - Braxton Miller will be back with Ohio State in 2015, according to Urban Meyer. Speaking to the media this morning, Meyer indicated he had talked to Miller-who will be a senior next season–about the situation after he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in August.

?I've had conversations and someone hit me with that today,? said Meyer. ?I don't expect (him to leave). There are a lot of things that go on out there that is out of his control, as well. So, we've had conversations and I expect him to be back at Ohio State.?

Some had speculated that Miller may turn pro-or transfer to another school to play his final season.

Miller has won the Silver Football Award as the Big Ten MVP two times, but he has had issues staying healthy. He missed almost three games in 2013 with a knee injury prior to his shoulder injury.

With Miller out, redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett emerged as the best quarterback in the Big Ten. He seemed to be a better all-around quarterback than Miller, capable of fully utilizing the offense more so than the run-centric Miller.

But Barrett?s season ended vs. Michigan with a broken ankle. Sophomore Cardale Jones took over and led the Buckeyes to a win vs. Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game and will lead OSU vs. Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on Thursday night.

So, Meyer apparently will have a loaded deck at quarterback next season, with Jones perhaps leading OSU to a national title and finding himself as the No. 3 quarterback in 2015. Amazing.

It will be interesting to see how Meyer balances this delicate dynamic of having three capable quarterbacks. Could it be a disruptive issue? Stay tuned. This will be fun to watch play out.
