It was Rivalry Week in the Big Ten on Saturday, the final day of the regular season, but it was also a week of record-breaking efforts and milestone moments.

First and foremost, Wisconsin star running back Melvin Gordon broke the Big Ten single-season rushing record, previously held by Ron Dayne (2,109), on his first carry vs. rival Minnesota.

Speaking of Minnesota, David Cobb broke Laurence Maroney's program record for rushing yards in a season early in his team's loss at Wisconsin.

The other record to fall Saturday was J.T. Barrett breaking Drew Brees' record for most touchdowns accounted for in a season. Barrett broke Brees' record (43) on Ohio State's first score, a 6-yard TD pass to Nick Vannett, and he added two more to give him 45 on the season.

As for the milestone moments, Indiana standout running back Tevin Coleman became the first Hoosier and just the 18th player ever to eclipse the 2,000-yard rushing mark, while Rutgers star receiver Leonte Carroo became the first Scarlet Knights player to haul in 10 touchdown receptions.
