The biggest headline from today's action? That would be Shannon Scott's Ohio State record 16 assists in an easy victory over Sacred Heart. Freshman D'Angelo Russell was pretty good, too, pouring in a career-high 32 points.

D.J. Newbill scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half and Penn State held off Southern Cal to take fifth place at the Charleston Classic with a 63-61 victory Sunday.

RUTGERS 76, ST. FRANCIS-NY 73: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP
Myles Mack scored 25 points and had eight steals and hit the tie-breaking free throws with 26 seconds left to lead Rutgers past St. Francis-Brooklyn 76-73 in the preliminary round of the Barclay's Classic on Sunday.
