Here are Saturday's results: Michigan State knocked off Maryland, Northwestern upset Notre Dame, Wisconsin drilled Nebraska, Rutgers toppled Indiana, Ohio State held off Minnesota, Penn State dropped Temple and Iowa rolled Illinois.

MICHIGAN STATE 37, MARYLAND 15: BOX | PBP | AP RECAP | MSU VIDEO | MD VIDEO
Jeremy Langford ran for 138 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 12 Michigan State received a strong performance from its defense in a 37-15 victory over Maryland on Saturday night.

Jack Mitchell kicked a 45-yard field goal with 19 seconds left to force overtime and then kicked a 41-yard field goal to give Northwestern a 43-40 victory over No. 15 Notre Dame on Saturday.

Gary Nova threw two touchdown passes to Leonte Carroo and Robert Martin ran for three more as Rutgers defeated Indiana 45-23 on Saturday to become bowl eligible for the ninth time in 10 seasons.

Melvin Gordon rushed for a major college-record 408 yards and four touchdowns and No. 11 Wisconsin overcame three early turnovers to take control of the Big Ten West division with a 59-24 win Saturday over No. 22 Nebraska.

J.T. Barrett threw for three touchdowns and ran for an Ohio State quarterback-record 189 yards and another score, helping the eighth-ranked Buckeyes overcome three turnovers and wintry weather to beat Minnesota 31-24 on Saturday afternoon.

Running back Mark Weisman ran for 134 yards and Iowa battered Illinois with 587 yards of offense Saturday in a 30-14 win. The Hawkeyes (7-3, 4-2 Big Ten) ran for a season-high 304 yards.

Penn State capitalized on five Temple turnovers, Akeel Lynch rushed for 130 yards and the Nittany Lions defeated the Owls 30-13 on Saturday to become bowl-eligible for the first time since 2011.
