Football players are taught to run through anything in their way. Maryland's Jacquille Veii heeded that advice in Saturday's loss to Ohio State, as he accidentally took down the umpire on a run up the middle. Watch the play in this post.

Ohio State won the game, Maryland's Big Ten home opener, 52-24. Read the AP recap.

Veii had a strong game, though, with four catches for a game-high 78 yards, to go along with one carry for 11 yards.

Maryland is off next week and hosts Iowa on Oct. 18.
