Ohio State outfielder Tim Wetzel closed out the final home game of his career on quite a high note. The Buckeyes' senior left fielder went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run at the plate, and also made two incredible catches in Ohio State's 5-2 win over Northwestern on Saturday afternoon.
Wetzel's highlight-reel day started right off the bat as he made a diving catch to rob Northwestern's Luke Dauch of a hit on the very first play of the game.

Three innings later, Wetzel made his presence felt on the offensive end as he launched a two-run home run into the seats to give Ohio State a 4-0 lead.
However, it was the next play that really stole the show on Ohio State's Senior Day.
Leading 4-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Wetzel climbed the outfield wall and made an incredible leaping catch, robbing Northwestern sophomore Jack Mitchell of a home run.

BTN's Eric Collins referred to the catch as "the catch of a career," and rightfully so.
How about that for a Senior Day moment?
