The Big Ten office released its latest Big Ten Baseball Players of the Week on Monday. See all of this week's honorees in this post.

Player of the Week: Dustin DeMuth, Indiana, Sr., 3B

  • Helped the Hoosiers to a three-game sweep of Ohio State, batting .583 in the road swing and recording three-hit games in the series? first two contests
  • Belted two home runs in the series en route to slugging 1.167 during the set, scoring at least one run in each game and finishing with three RBI
  • Went 2-for-5 in a midweek tilt against Indiana State, driving in a pair of runs to bring his weekly RBI total to five
  • Wins his second career Big Ten Player of the Week honor and first this season
  • Last Indiana Big Ten Player of the Week: Casey Rodrigue (March 24, 2014)

Pitcher of the Week: Calvin Mathews, Iowa, So., RHP

  • Went the distance in guiding Iowa to the series-opening victory at Michigan on Friday night, scattering just six hits, while tying his career high with nine strikeouts against zero walks
  • Surrendered two runs in the first three innings before shutting down the Wolverine offense, allowing just two hits in the final six frames to earn the victory
  • Notched his first career complete game to improve to 3-1 on the year
  • Wins his first Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor
  • Last Iowa Big Ten Pitcher of the Week: Sasha Kuebel (May 21, 2012)

Freshman of the Week: Cam Vieaux, Michigan State, LHP

  • Earned his first victory as a starter, going six scoreless innings and leading Michigan State to a 5-0 win in Sunday?s finale against Minnesota
  • Recorded five strikeouts, scattered three hits and surrendered just two walks
  • Lowered his ERA to 2.31 on the season and earned his third win of the season
  • Wins his first career weekly honor
