U Conn fans having the refs help you win a game will not help you in Texas. Florida will blow you out.

Terribly bias officiating!

Give it a rest Don…Even Izzo admits 16 turnovers by MS and crappy play were their downfall.

Izzo is not ever going to say the officiating left something to be desired because when a coach does it, referees hold it against you in Future games. Just because the crowd was 80% for UConn doesn’t mean the refs should makes calls 80% of the time in the Huskies favor. Spartans will reload and be there again next year just like they always do because of great recruiting.

One of Izzo’s great attributes is overachieving with two or three starters and all of his back-ups who are marginal players. It has been quite a run that he has had. Will his next majic act be a complete rebuild of the Detroit Pistons ?

Go to the stats: msu shoots 40% from floor and holds UConn to 35%. Msu shot 38% beyond the arc and held UConn to 23%. State held a slim rebounding edge 32-30. The difference was at the free- throw line (UConn was 21/22 to state’s 5/6) and turnovers (UConn has edge 18-6)….state played better d, but foul trouble on appling left state vulnerable with the ball. Disparity in opportunities at the free throw line was a huge advantage. That coupled with careless passes by state gave UConn extra chances on offense that didn’t lead to more points, but…more free throws. Credit UConn for making 96% of them.

Sounds like a UM fan having hopefull thoughts on Izzo leaving MSU for the NBA. Don’t hold your breath If Izzo hasn’t been persuaded by huge amounts of money before he wont now. Plan on Izzo staying with MSU for another decade or two.
