The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, which served as the home of the Minnesota Gophers football program from 1982-2008, is on its way out after 84 charges of dynamite were used to destroy the upper ring of the stadium on Sunday morning.

In addition to serving as the home for Gopher football for 26 years, the Metrodome was also home to the Gophers baseball team, as well as the site of ten NCAA Basketball Tournaments, including the 1992 and 2001 Final Four.

Here is the captivating video of the demolition.
