CBSSports.com's Jerry Palm joined Tuesday night's "Big Ten Finale" to give his latest thoughts on the Big Ten's NCAA bubble teams, most notably Nebraska. The Huskers, fresh off Sunday's stunning upset at then-No. 9 Michigan State, have won five of six and have a manageable schedule remaining.

"They've gotten hot," Palm said. "Now, they have to stay hot."

Nebraska is 14-10 overall, including 6-6 in the Big Ten, and Palm said four games over .500 is the "bare minimum" to get into the field.

Another thing working against Nebraska, according to Palm, is its three bad losses (UAB; at Purdue; at Penn State).

"They're going to have to win five in a row," Palm said, "because they really can't afford a fourth bad loss."

As for Minnesota, Palm said: "This is a team that really just needs to finish strong."
