No. 1 Minnesota claimed the EAS/NWCA National Dual Championship for the third consecutive year with a 24-15 victory over fourth-ranked Cornell on Sunday night at Ohio State. This is the eighth championship for the Golden Gophers who advance to 12-1 on the season.

The Gophers were able to claim six of the 10 bouts, including three majors and a fall, en route to the National Duals championship. Read full GopherSports.com recap.

Ohio State finished third, while Illinois went 2-2 in the event.

149: No. 3 Nick Dardanes (Minnesota) won in sudden victory 1 over Chris Villalonga (Cornell), 5-4. Gophers lead 12-3.
157: No. 5 Dylan Ness (Minnesota) won by fall over Brian Realbuto (Cornell) at 1:13. Gophers lead 17-3.
165: Dylan Palacio (Cornell) won by fall over Danny Zilverberg (Minnesota) at 7:43. Gophers lead 17-9.
174: No. 6 Logan Storley (Minnesota) won by decision over Craig Eifert (Cornell), 8-2. Gophers lead 20-9.
184: Gabriel Dean (Cornell) won in overtime over Kevin Steinhaus (Minnesota), 3-2. Gophers lead 20-12.
197: No. 4 Scott Schiller (Minnesota) won by major decision over Jace Bennett (Cornell), 11-1. Gophers lead 24-12. HWT: Jacob Aiken-Phillips (Cornell) won by decision over Michael Kroells (Minnesota), 7-6. Gophers win 24-15.
