Super Bowl Sunday featured a quartet of Big Ten women's basketball games. Two of the games included ranked foes, as Michigan State upset No. 19 Purdue, 89-73, and No. 12 Penn State topped Northwestern, 79-75. In other action, Indiana cruised by Illinois 77-58, and Wisconsin got the best of Ohio State, 82-71. Catch up on all the action in this post.

MICHIGAN STATE 89, PURDUE 73| RECAP
(AP) Aerial Powers had 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists to lead Michigan State past No. 19 Purdue 89-73 on Sunday. The Spartans (15-7, 7-2 Big Ten) opened the second half on a 28-13 run to lead 67-51 with 9:24 left and led by double digits from there.

PENN STATE 79, NORTHWESTERN 75 | RECAP
(AP) Maggie Lucas scored 19 points Sunday and Ariel Edwards added 15 as No. 12 Penn State held off Northwestern 79-75. Dara Taylor, Peyton Whitted and Talia East each scored 11 for the Lady Lions (17-4, 8-1 Big Ten).

INDIANA 77, ILLINOIS 58 | RECAP
The Indiana women's basketball team ran past Illinois for the program's first Big Ten road win in nearly three years with a 77-58 victory on Sunday afternoon at the State Farm Center. Alexis Gassion tallied a career high 22 points to lead the Hoosiers. After a tough shooting night last time out against Northwestern, the young Hoosiers rebounded to shoot 47.5 percent (28-of-49) from the field and 44.4 percent (12-of-27) from beyond the arc against Illinois. The 12 made 3-pointers ties the team's season high and ties for second most 3-point field goals made in a single game in program history.
