Cox and several of his Michigan State teammates got into a shoving match with multiple Michigan players late in the third period of Friday’s night’s Big Ten hockey matchup. As the fight progressed, tempers began to flare and Cox actually went ahead and picked up a Michigan player and body slammed him to the ice.

Watch the fight and the body slam in this video.

Michigan State won the fight, but Michigan got the best of the Spartans in the game, notching a 5-2 victory.

Frustration of losing again…. Hopefully the Aggies will learn to accept defeat in more classy fashion next time. Chelios’ actions had to be disappointing to the “good fans” of MSU hockey.
