There were three Big Ten women's basketball games on Thursday night. Penn State kicked off the action with an impressive 66-42 win over Ohio State. Michigan State followed with a 88-72 thumping of Iowa, and Nebraska edged out Minnesota, 88-85 in overtime

(AP) Maggie Lucas scored 18 points to lead Penn State in a 66-42 Big-Ten victory over Ohio State on Thursday night. Lucas finished with five rebounds and five assists. Ariel Edwards was the only other Lady Lion to score in double figures, and finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

(AP) Rachel Theriot scored a career-high 33 points and had nine assists to lead No. 18 Nebraska to an 88-85 overtime win over Minnesota on Thursday night. Nebraska (13-3, 3-1 Big Ten Conference) trailed much of the game but took the lead late in the second half on an 18-6 run capped by an Emily Cady 3-pointer that made it 76-73 with 1:46 to go. With nine seconds remaining in regulation, Minnesota (12-6, 1-3) sent the game into overtime with a 3-pointer by Rachel Banham that tied the score at 78.
