WISCONSIN 5, MICHIGAN 2 | RECAP | BOX

After more than a one-month interlude, the No. 14 Wisconsin men's hockey team's return to Big Ten hockey was a successful one as the Badgers used a pair of fortuitous early bounces and staved off a late Michigan (10-5-2, 2-1-0 B1G) rally to secure a 5-2 victory. Wisconsin (12-6-1, 3-2-0 B1G) raced out to an early 2-0 lead thanks to a pair of fluky goals. With both teams struggling early to gain traction on the offensive end, the Badgers benefitted from simply putting the puck on the net and waiting for good things to happen.
