Following Ohio State?s 40-35 loss to Clemson in the Discover Orange Bowl, Braxton Miller told BTN that he didn?t have a timeline on deciding if he would turn pro. Now, the Buckeyes' quarterback has made it official. Miller will return to Ohio State for his senior season.

Miller, who has led Ohio State to consecutive 12-win seasons and totaled 8,346 yards of total offense and 84 touchdowns, was expected to return, but the announcement became official today.

Miller had the following to say in a statement released today by the school:

?I want to help this team win a Big Ten championship next year. ?Plus, I want to improve as a quarterback in all aspects of my game. I?m looking forward to working for another year with Coach Meyer and Coach Herman.

?And I want to graduate, so this will help get me closer to my academic goal.?

Miller is on the verge of breaking several decorated Ohio State football records. The senior-to-be needs just 2,256 passing yards to top Art Schlichter?s school-record total of 7,547 and is just 505 yards away from the Buckeyes' total offense mark of 8,850 yards, which is also held by Schlichter.

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer had the following to say about Miller's decision to return to school.

?We look forward to having Braxton Miller return to this team for his senior season. He has been an extremely valuable member of our team and he is also a fine student. His desire to lead our team to a championship, to earn his degree from The Ohio State University next spring and to continue to improve as a quarterback are his motivation.?
