(AP) Ben Brust scored 19 points and No. 4 Wisconsin remained unbeaten with a 75-71 victory over No. 22 Iowa on Sunday night. Wisconsin (15-0, 2-0 Big Ten) matched the best start in school history, tying the 1911-12 and 1913-14 teams. The game was physical at times, drawing loud protests from both coaches. But Iowa coach Fran McCaffery boiled over after a foul was called on Gabriel Olaseni that sent Nigel Hayes to the line. McCaffery was ejected with 12 minutes to play after two technical fouls were called.

MINNESOTA 82, PURDUE 79 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Austin Hollins had 18 points and nine rebounds, and Minnesota went 23 for 27 from the free-throw line to hang on for an 82-79 victory over Purdue on Sunday, the first in the Big Ten for new coach Richard Pitino. Andre Hollins added 17 points and five assists and made 9 of his 11 foul shots for the Gophers (12-3, 1-1), who led by as many as 19 points in the second half before surviving a determined comeback. The Boilermakers (10-5, 0-2) grabbed 21 offensive rebounds to stay in the game.

MICHIGAN 74, NORTHWESTERN 51 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Nik Stauskas scored 18 points and Glenn Robinson III added 12 to lead Michigan to a 74-51 victory over Northwestern on Sunday. The Wolverines (10-4, 2-0) have won six straight over the Wildcats, and this victory wasn't much different than Michigan's two routs last season. Northwestern (7-8, 0-2) trailed by only seven at the half but couldn't keep up. Jordan Morgan had eight points and eight rebounds for the Wolverines, who played without star big man Mitch McGary, who is out with a back problem.
