Kill moves down to sideline for second half
After spending the first half of Friday night’s Texas Bowl up in the booth, Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill has made the move down to the field and is expected to coach there for the remainder of the game.
ESPN reported that Kill addressed his team at halftime and made the move down to the field in hopes of inspiring the Gophers in the second half.
Minnesota currently trails Syracuse 7-3 early on in the third quarter.
