No real shockers here. That said, I am mildly surprised people are putting the Orange Bowl one spot ahead of the Rose Bowl Game. Not a big deal, but what’s not to like about two old-school teams like Michigan State and Stanford battling in The Granddaddy of Them All? It’s going to be great.

orange bowl ahead of the rose bowl? get real people, and why the BWW bowl is ranked so high is also a mystery….

In my personal opinion MSU and Stanford are playing for the championship of college football, those other three are not college teams, more like AAA in baseball with the money paid under the table to relatives.

MSU beats OSU in the title game and some websites are still obsessed with OSU. Shocker.

Doug speaks the truth Spartan Nation, to be the best you have to beat the best. Spartan Dawgs have earned a seat at the Big Dawg table.

Congratulations to MSU for their victory over OSU. MSU’s defense is for real. However, many think that MSU was lucky to beat Nebraska with unforced turnovers. Next year MSU will be lucky to finish in the top ten nationally. Once other teams start chasing them we’ll see how well they will do. OSU was chased for 24 straight games and managed to go undefeated. There was a period of four weeks starting with Northwestern where every team had two weeks to come up with a game plan to beat OSU. Hopefully, MSU won’t embarrass themselves and the B1G in the Rose Bowl when they play Stanford. Oh, and if you see Connor Cook, please tell him he is still a two or three start recruit. Go green!

Aaron Conklin on 12/10/2013 @ 9:37pm EDT Said:

Please fix the typo on the Yahoo.com poll. Do not insult MSU by saying Michigan is playing Stanford. Pound Green Pound!

Yahoo put michigan vs Stanford in the rose bowl, yahoo as a huge msu fan I wouldn’t make that mistake

bigtengrad on 12/11/2013 @ 9:30am EDT Said:

You guys are pathetic. 3 of the 5 had the Rose over the Orange, Dougie-stop whining. Just think of the riots in Lansing if you win the Rose Bowl!! SILA, it is great to know your personal opinion that the Rose is deciding the MNC this year. Forget Auburn and FSU. I’m assuming you’re discounting Auburn because Newton’s father may have shopped him to Mississippi State a few years ago? Great argument to support your assertion that the Rose is the national championship.

And let the quotes of entitlement from Spartan fans begin… Yes, you are the best the Big Ten has to offer which isn’t saying much. The Big Ten has been a train wreck all season. Enjoy your 15 minutes of couch burning and car flipping fame…

Bob on 12/11/2013 @ 12:31pm EDT Said:

People simply want to tune in hopnig OSU chokes out another loss. A lot of haters out there. Quite frankly, I embrace it. Go Bucks!

Kerry Ragsdale on 12/11/2013 @ 12:47pm EDT Said:

Hey Sparty…beating Ohio State and going to your first BCS BOWL ( EVEN WITH ABUCKEYE AS YOUR COACH) does not make M$U an instant giant incollwhe football…. Win big for 50…60…70 years….AND THEN you will be one of the premier programs that people love to watch…if for no other reason than to see us possibly lose. I am excited for Sparty and I am rooting for you…but OSU has earned the reputation as a powerhouse year in and year out….Go Sparty…and please spare me the hateful insults about my alma mater….Ohio State is a great university….as are all the Big Ten schools!!

Larry Witt on 12/12/2013 @ 5:43am EDT Said:

Sparty is very deserving. They should be playing FSU this bowl season. Dantonio seems to get better as the season goes on. BTW not their first BCS its their first Rose Bowl. I’m not a msu fan just saying. GO HAWKS!
