Saturday wasn't just about the 2013 Big Ten Football Championship Game. No, there was more than enough men's basketball today to keep you entertained all day. INDIANA 89 NORTH FLORIDA 68 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Evan Gordon scored 15 points and Yogi Ferrell had 14 points with seven assists to help Indiana rout overmatched North Florida 89-68 on Saturday. Noah Vonleh posted his sixth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds and added four steals as the Hoosiers recovered from a stretch of two losses in three games. Indiana (7-2) has won 35 straight nonconference games at home. The Hoosiers shot 46.4 percent from the field and limited the Ospreys to 37.1 percent in a game played at an often-hectic pace.

IOWA 83, DRAKE 66 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Melsahn Basabe had a season-high 15 points and No. 23 Iowa cruised past Drake 83-66 on a neutral floor Saturday night. Devyn Marble and freshman Peter Jok each scored 14 for Hawkeyes (9-1), who won their fourth straight over the intrastate-rival Bulldogs. Iowa closed the first half on a 10-0 run and never looked back, stretching its lead to 23 points with 5:18 left.

MICHIGAN 107, HOUSTON BAPTIST 53 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Nik Stauskas scored 17 of his 25 points in the first half, and No. 22 Michigan overwhelmed Houston Baptist 107-53 on Saturday, reaching its highest point total in over 15 years. The Wolverines (6-3) bounced back from a loss at Duke with a nearly flawless offensive show in the first half. Michigan led 60-34 at halftime after shooting 68 percent from the field – 10 of 16 from 3-point range – and committing only one turnover. The Wolverines ended up tying a school record for 3-pointers with 16.

MINNESOTA 80, NEW ORLEANS 65 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Andre Hollins led six Golden Gophers in double figures with 18 points as Minnesota defeated New Orleans 80-65 on Saturday afternoon. Center Mo Walker, making his first start of the season, scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Minnesota (8-2). Cory Dixon led the Privateers with 16 points, while Matt Derenbecker added 14 points and eight boards. The Gophers were coming off their most impressive victory of the season, a 10-point win over Florida State in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Tuesday.

NORTHWESTERN 51, WESTERN MICHIGAN 35 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Drew Crawford scored 15 points and had 9 rebounds to lead Northwestern to a 51-35 victory over Western Michigan Saturday night. Northwestern (5-5) scored the first six points and never trailed. Crawford his first three-pointer with 17:46 left to give Northwestern a 27-13 lead. The Wildcats extended their lead to 20 when Crawford hit another 3-pointer with 7:56 remaining. Crawford, who missed most of last season due to a shoulder injury, scored 11 of his 15 points after halftime.

OHIO STATE 74, CENTRAL CONN. STATE 56 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) LaQuinton Ross scored four of his career-high 23 points in a 10-0 second-half run, leading No. 5 Ohio State past Central Connecticut State 74-56 on Saturday night. Lenzelle Smith Jr. added 17 points and Amir Williams had 11 for the Buckeyes (8-0), who finally pulled away midway through the second half. Faronte Drakeford led the Blue Devils (2-6) with 12 points and Matt Mobley added 10.

PENN STATE 90, MARSHALL 77 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Ross Travis scored 20 points and Donovan Jack's 18 points, seven blocked shots and seven rebounds enabled Penn State to race past Marshall 90-77 on Saturday. D.J. Newbill scored 17 points while Brandon Taylor and Tim Frazier each added 10 as the Nittany Lions rebounded after back-to-back losses to Mississippi and Pittsburgh. The Nittany Lions (7-3) have scored 70 points in all but one of their games this season.

(AP) Bryson Scott made his first career start and had 16 points and five assists to lead the Purdue Boilermakers to a 69-64 victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday. True freshman Kendall Stephens scored career-high 13 points, including three 3-pointers, and Terone Johnson had 9 points for the Boilermakers (8-2), who have won three straight. Karringtonn Ward had 25 points and eight rebounds and Glenn Bryant had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Eagles (5-3).

WISCONSIN 70, MARQUETTE 64 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) Sam Dekker had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and No. 8 Wisconsin withstood a late Marquette rally for a 70-64 victory Saturday that snapped its two-game losing streak in the intrastate rivalry. Frank Kaminsky added 11 points, including a straightaway 3 to give Wisconsin a 60-54 lead with 1:18 left. The crucial bucket stopped a 10-2 run by Marquette that helped close an 11-point deficit. Jamil Wilson scored 22 points, including a 3 from the wing that had drawn Marquette (5-4) within three. Kaminsky then nailed his clutch 3 for the Badgers (10-0), who are off to the best start in 20 years.
