Iowa and Penn State both lost heartbreakers in their respective tournament title games Saturday. Villanova topped the Hawkeyes in overtime in the Battle 4 Atlantis championship, while Ole Miss nipped the Nittany Lions in the Barclays Center Classic final. Nebraska, however, topped NIU. Tournament MVP James Bell scored 20 points and sparked a huge Villanova rally, Josh Hart added 16 off the bench and the Wildcats beat No. 23 Iowa 88-83 in overtime to claim the Battle 4 Atlantis championship on Saturday night. Devyn Marble led all scorers with 24 points for Iowa. Zach McCabe scored 14 and Mike Gesell added 10 for the Hawkeyes, who scored the first three points of overtime but never led again.

(AP) Deverell Biggs had 18 points and hit four throws in the final 7 seconds as Nebraska held on to defeat Northern Illinois 63-58 Saturday. Nebraska (5-2) took a 48-35 lead on Tai Webster's layup with 13:17 remaining. But the Huskers then went 6 minutes without a basket. Northern Illinois (2-4) chipped away at the lead as Nebraska struggled from the free-throw line, making just 2 of 9 in a 6-minute stretch.

(AP) Mississippi coach Andy Kennedy called the play down the stretch of Marshall Henderson and Jarvis Summers "huge." Then he gave a quick look into the differences of the players who led the undefeated Rebels to a 79-76 victory over Penn State on Saturday in the championship game of the Barclays Center Classic. D.J. Newbill had 23 points to lead Penn State (6-2), which had a five-game winning streak snapped. Ross Travis had 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Nittany Lions, but Tim Frazier was held to nine points on 3-for-13 shooting. Frazier had 10 assists.
