The Big Ten office released its Big Ten Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Monday. To no surprise, Wisconsin junior Frank Kaminsky took home Player of the Week. Kaminsky scored a Wisconsin single-game record 43 points vs. North Dakota and averaged 26 points and 4.7 rebounds in three games.

Player of the Week: Frank Kaminsky, Wisconsin, C - Jr. - 7-0 

  • Averaged 26.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in Wisconsin?s wins over North Dakota, Bowling Green and Oral Roberts last week
  • Shot 67.4 percent (29-of-43) from the field, 66.7 percent (8-of-12) from three-point range and 85.7 percent (12-of-14) from the free throw line
  • Poured in a school-record 43 points on 16-of-19 shooting, including six three-pointers, in the Badgers? 103-85 win over North Dakota
  • Scored 21 points and pulled down six rebounds against Oral Roberts, and chipped in 14 points versus Bowling Green
  • Earns his first career Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week: Bryson Scott, Purdue, G - 6-1 

  • Averaged 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in Purdue?s wins over Eastern Illinois and Siena last week
  • Shot 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from the field for the week
  • Scored 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting against Siena
  • Chipped in 14 points, including an 8-of-10 effort from the free throw line, versus Eastern Illinois
  • Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor
