First Quarter: Northwestern 3, Michigan State 0

Northwestern gave up just 33 total yards in the first quarter and the Wildcats hold a 3-0 advantage over No. 13 Michigan State.

The Wildcats got on the scoreboard first with a 13-play, 75-yard drive that was capped when Jeff Budzien kicked a 22-yard field goal.

Northwestern has the ball at the Spartans’ 42-yard line to begin the second quarter.

First Quarter: Purdue 14, Illinois 7

The Boilermakers rushed for 95 yards in the quarter, and Purdue leads 14-7 at the end of the first quarter.

Purdue’s Akeem Hunt ran for 61 yards and one touchdown in the quarter.

Purdue took the game’s first lead after Hunt pounded in a 62-yard touchdown run on the last play of a four-play, 75-yard drive.

Illinois tied the score at 7-7 after Nathan Scheelhaase found Steve Hull open for a three-yard touchdown pass to cap off a nine-play, 80-yard drive.
A 13-play, 75-yard scoring drive by the Boilermakers snapped the 7-7 standoff, as Danny Etling and Cameron Posey combined for an eight-yard touchdown.

Illinois will start the second quarter with possession at Purdue’s 30-yard line.

First Quarter: Iowa 7, Michigan 7

Iowa’s C.J. Fiedorowicz caught two passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 7-7 at the end of the first.

Iowa tied the score at 7-7 after Jake Rudock found Fiedorowicz open for a five-yard touchdown pass to finish off a six-play, 45-yard drive.

Michigan will start the second quarter with the ball on its own 44-yard line.

Second Quarter: Purdue 14, Illinois 14

Illinois’ Steve Hull caught two passes for 47 yards and a touchdown in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 14-14 at the end of the second.

Illinois got even after Nathan Scheelhaase and Hull hooked up for a 30-yard touchdown to end a three-play, 54-yard drive that tied the score at 14.

The Fighting Illini will get the ball to start the second half.

Second Quarter: Michigan State 14, Northwestern 6

Michigan State racked up 123 passing yards and 88 rushing yards in the second quarter and the Spartans lead Northwestern 14-6 at the half.

Jeremy Langford’s 20-yard touchdown run finished off an 11-play, 80-yard drive and gave the Spartans the lead, 7-3.

The Spartans made their lead 14-3 when Connor Cook found Bennie Fowler open for an 87-yard touchdown pass on the last play of a three-play, 92-yard drive.

Northwestern made the score 14-6 after Jeff Budzien drilled a 20-yard field goal to finish off a 69-yard drive. The drive also featured Trevor Siemian’s 39-yard pass to Dan Vitale.

Northwestern will receive to start the second half.

Second Quarter: Michigan 21, Iowa 7

Devin Gardner threw for 60 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 25 yards in the second quarter as Michigan now leads 21-7.

Michigan is currently on a 14-point run.

Gardner and A.J. Williams combined for a two-yard touchdown to break the 7-7 standoff in favor of the Wolverines. The play capped a seven-play, 28-yard scoring drive. The drive was set up at the Iowa 28-yard line when Blake Countess intercepted a Jake Rudock pass.

Michigan extended its lead to 21-7 thanks to a 10-play, 47-yard drive that ended when Gardner threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Gallon. The drive was set up at the Hawkeyes’ 47-yard line when the Wolverines returned a punt.

Iowa will receive to start the second half.

Third Quarter: Purdue 14, Illinois 14

Purdue held Illinois to just 42 yards through the air on 5-of-6 passing and 78 yards in total offense in the third quarter and the two teams are knotted at 14-14.

Steve Hull has caught nine passes for 126 yards on the day so far for Illinois.

For the game, Akeem Hunt has 89 yards on 15 carries with one touchdown for Purdue and Nathan Scheelhaase is 18-20 for 183 yards passing with two touchdowns for the Fighting Illini.

Illinois has possession at its own 44-yard line to start the fourth quarter.

Third Quarter: Michigan State 23, Northwestern 6

No. 13 Michigan State now leads 23-6 thanks in part to 140 passing yards in the quarter.

Michigan State’s Connor Cook threw for 140 yards and one touchdown in the quarter.

Michigan State opened up the lead, 17-6, after marching down the field for a five-play, 52-yard drive that ended when Michael Geiger kicked a 37-yard field goal. The drive also featured Cook’s 47-yard pass to Tony Lippett.

The Spartans made their lead 23-6 when Cook threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Josiah Price on the last play of an eight-play, 87-yard drive.

Trevor Siemian clinched a 200-yard passing game with 53 in the quarter, part of his 203-yard day through three quarters for Northwestern.

Michigan State’s Jeremy Langford hit 100 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, part of his 112-yard rushing performance thus far.

The Wildcats will start the fourth quarter with possession on the Spartans’ 39-yard line.

Third Quarter: Michigan 21, Iowa 14

Iowa’s Tevaun Smith caught two passes for 65 yards and a touchdown as Iowa has closed the gap to 21-14.
Devin Gardner is 11-24 for 67 yards passing with two touchdowns for Michigan.

The Hawkeyes capped off a 70-yard drive when Jake Rudock and Smith hooked up for a 55-yard touchdown to make the score 21-14.

Iowa has possession on the Wolverines’ 33-yard line to start the fourth quarter.

Picking up 130 yards in the ground game during the first quarter, Ohio State leads Indiana, 14-0.

Ohio State stuffed the run, giving up just nine yards on the ground in the quarter.

The Buckeyes took the game’s first lead after Carlos Hyde pounded in a 16-yard touchdown run on the last play of a five-play, 71-yard drive. The drive also featured Braxton Miller’s 41-yard run.

Ohio State opened up the lead, 14-0, after Miller scrambled for a 37-yard touchdown run to end a five-play, 56-yard drive.

The Hoosiers have possession on the Buckeyes’ 25-yard line to start the second quarter.

First Quarter: Wisconsin 3, Minnesota 0

No. 25 Minnesota held No. 19 Wisconsin to just eight yards through the air on 2-of-2 passing and 73 yards in total offense in the first quarter, but trail 3-0.

Wisconsin scored when Jack Russell kicked a 30-yard field goal to clinch a four-play, 48-yard drive, giving Wisconsin the game’s first lead. The drive also featured James White’s 49-yard run.

The Golden Gophers will start the second quarter with possession at Wisconsin’s 41-yard line.

Ohio State extended its lead to 21-0 when Braxton Miller kept it himself for a five-yard touchdown run. The drive was set up at Indiana’s 8-yard line when Bradley Roby blocked a punt.

Ohio State added to its advantage when Carlos Hyde ran five yards for a touchdown, capping off a four-play, 69-yard drive to give Ohio State the lead, 28-0.

The Hoosiers will start the second half with the ball.

Nebraska has taken the lead 7-6 thanks in part to 99 passing yards in the quarter.

Nebraska stuffed the run, giving up just eight yards on the ground in the quarter.

Ron Kellogg’s 27-yard touchdown pass to Quincy Enunwa gave the Cornhuskers the lead, 7-6, and was the final play of a seven-play, 91-yard drive.

The Nittany Lions will start the second half with the ball.

Second Quarter: Wisconsin 13, Minnesota 7

Picking up 84 yards on the ground during the second quarter, Wisconsin now leads 13-7.

Wisconsin held Minnesota to 33 total yards in the quarter.

The Golden Gophers made the score 7-3 when Aaron Hill intercepted Joel Stave’s pass and returned it for a touchdown.

James White’s one-yard touchdown run gave the Badgers the lead 10-7 after a five-play, 49-yard drive. The drive was set up at the Minnesota 49-yard line when Wisconsin recovered a fumble.

The Badgers added to their advantage when Jack Russell drilled a 19-yard field goal, capping off a 12-play, 41-yard drive to give the Badgers the lead, 13-7.

Ohio State’s Dontre Wilson caught one pass for 24 yards and a touchdown in the quarter.

Ohio State extended its lead to 35-0 thanks to a six-play, 65-yard drive that ended when Braxton Miller tossed a 24-yard touchdown to Wilson.

Kofi Hughes has caught seven passes for 107 yards on the day so far for Indiana.

Fourth Quarter: Ohio State 42, Indiana 14

Effectively using both the ground and passing games, Ohio State kept the game out of reach for a 42-14 victory over Indiana. Ohio State finished with 64 yards through the air and 61 on the ground in the quarter.

The Buckeyes made their lead 42-0 when Braxton Miller and Devin Smith combined for a 39-yard touchdown on the last play of a seven-play, 98-yard drive.

The Hoosiers capped a 48-yard drive when Nate Sudfeld tossed a four-yard touchdown to Shane Wynn to make the score 42-7.

Indiana made the score 42-14 after Sudfeld and D’Angelo Roberts combined for a 25-yard touchdown to finish off a 58-yard drive.

Carlos Hyde finished with 117 yards on the ground. Sudfeld finished with 224 passing yards for Indiana.

Fourth Quarter: Penn State 20, Nebraska 20

Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg threw for 70 yards and a touchdown in the quarter, and the two teams are tied 20-20 at the end of the fourth.

Hackenberg’s 46-yard touchdown pass to Jesse James finished off a four-play, 75-yard drive and gave Penn State the lead, 20-17.

Nebraska got even after Pat Smith kicked an 18-yard field goal to end a 10-play, 73-yard drive that tied the score at 20.

Going into overtime, Penn State has outgained the Cornhuskers 382 yards to 355.
