There were seven Big Ten men's basketball games on Friday, including Michigan's impressive 82-80 overtime win over Florida State. Sophomore Nik Stauskas scored a game-high 26 points, including seven in overtime, as the Wolverines erased a 16-point second-half deficit.

Terran Petteway led Nebraska with 21 points, but UAB bounced back from a double-overtime defeat to No. 19 New Mexico with an 87-74 victory over the Huskers at the Charleston Classic on Friday. Frazier reached the 30-point level for a second straight game, notching a career-high 34 in the 97-94 loss to the Lobos. UAB (4-1) will face either Georgia or Temple in Sunday's fifth-place game.

(AP) Yogi Ferrell had a team-high 19 points, but it wasn't enough as Indiana fell to Connecticut 59-58 on Friday night in the championship game of the 2K Sports Classic Benefiting Wounded Warrior Project. Shabazz Napier scored 27 points, including 11 over the final 7 minutes, to lead the Huskies to the victory.
NORTHWESTERN 63, IUPUI 61 | RECAP | BOX | PLAY-BY-PLAY
(AP) JerShon Cobb hit a running pull-up in the lane with 2.3 seconds left to give Northwestern a 63-61 comeback victory over IUPUI Friday night. Northwestern took a 59-55 lead with 2:29 left on three Sobolewski free throws, but IUPUI rallied and tied the score on a pair of Patton free throws with 20 seconds left, setting the stage for Cobb's heroics. Cobb got the ball on the left wing and drove to the lane just inside the foul line before pulling up for the shot. The ball bounced off the rim and backboard before dropping through.

The 6-foot-7 forward went 5 of 8 from the three-point stripe, and almost single-handedly carried the Illini (5-0) in the game's final minutes. Joseph Bertrand, Tracy Abrams and Rayvonte Rice each added 12 points. Center Nnanna Egwu grabbed a game-high 9 rebounds.
