MSU upsets No. 2 Syracuse, PSU falls to Princeton
Michigan State upset No. 2 Syracuse, 2-1, and Penn State fell to Princeton, 5-4, Saturday in the opening round of the NCAA field hockey tournament. The Spartans’ win over the Orange snapped Syracuse’s 45-game home winning streak. Michigan State will take on Connecticut at 2 p.m. ET Sunday. The winner of the game advances to the national semifinals.
