Bowl Projections: Still seeing two B1G BCS teams

Not much movement in this week’s bowl projections. Ohio State is still No. 4 in the BCS standings and has a big hill to climb to get to the Nos. 1 or 2 spots. But Wisconsin still has time to perhaps be a BCS at-large bowl bid. The Badgers were just No. 24 in the BCS standings; they need to get into the Top 14. Michigan is No. 21; Michigan State is No. 22. The Spartans’ situation has improved, as have the bowl destinations for Iowa and Minnesota.

Wisconsin vs Florida State? Have you seen Florida State play? Seriously? The bookies would favor FSU by at least 30 points!

Hate to see Nebraska and Michigan take on Texas Tech and Texas A&M, respectively. That isn’t a good match-up and the B1G teams will not fare well do to defensive issues. The rest of the match-ups predicted look like potential B1G victories.

No comments from cockey Husker fans… refreshing.

I can not see any way wisconsin will make a BCS Bowl game. They will not play any ranked teams fromhere on out. They would need an awful lot of help form the teams ahead on them to make it. The best chance they have is for Ohio State to have a complete meat down and lose 2 games this year yet.

John on 10/28/2013 @ 7:06pm EDT Said:

It stinks MSU does not play Wiscy this year, too bad the BIG doesn’t value that rivalry.

I agree, Wisky-Sparty would again make a great game…as much as I love my Badgers, I think Sparty has a slight edge for being the second best team in the conference. Defense is great and offense is getting better every week. Sparty-Ohio State would make a great conference championship game. On a neutral filed its anybody’s game.

Why aren’t all the Big Ten coaches voting Ohio St. #1? As a Hawkeye fan, I have no love for columbus, but what they are doing is more impressive then alabuma.
