Michigan State/Illinois will be close. It’ll come down to special teams and turnovers.

tgd112gostate on 10/23/2013 @ 5:38pm EDT Said:

I actually believe it will be close as well, but not special teams & turnover unless special teams turn the ball over. It SHOULD come down to whether or not MSU continues to execute an offensive game plan that is working, or if they run unnecessary unsuccessful offensive plays. For example, in 2 games this year MSU was running between the tackles almost at will. Then, for some inexplicable reason ran a “gadget” play that either resulted in a turnover or a big loss which precipitated a punt, “RUN THE DANG BALL BURT!” – LeAnn Toughy from The Blind Side.

Go Green!

I like Illinois to upset Sparty, and I like Devon Gardner to throw for 300 yards on Nov 2 he better or Doug will be without me forever in 10 days, that would be too hard on Doug

Iowa getting better every week, Northwestern…going nowhere this year.
MSU defense too much for the Illini
Nebraska….Cake schedule continues….for now! Gophers just not competitive, sorry!
OSU too much for anyone else in the Big Ten, Buckeyes stay undefeated

R. "Lionheart" Lucier on 10/24/2013 @ 10:06pm EDT Said:

I HAVE to go with Penn State going into the “shoe” and coming out the victor. They have the strength and the tenacity as was displayed against a formidable Michigan team. OSU has a few hollow spots that I think Penn State will take advantage of after PSU’s bye week;they’ll be rested, maybe tested,,but, not bested! WE ARE PENN STATE!

Scott on 10/24/2013 @ 10:09pm EDT Said:

“Reality Check” is clearly a Wolverine slappy. Neither the Illini nor Wolverines will be favored over MSU, and either beating the Spartans is unlikely.

Dan K on 10/25/2013 @ 3:46am EDT Said:

Minnesota upsets Nebraska and their program is on way to an unprecedented ascendance … you read it here!

Kevin Lewis on 10/25/2013 @ 6:49am EDT Said:

To you boneheads that actually think Penn state had a chance in the horseshoe at night against the OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY you are sadly mistaken! Final score 42-24 buckeyes!

Doug on 10/25/2013 @ 11:31am EDT Said:

exactly scott, Mark, you better not wager on this weekend’s game, you’re gonna owe magic enough money on nov 3rd. new management coming ! chris thinks ill is gonna beat msu 38 to 14? HAHHAHAAH riez, no upset this weekend at all

Steve on 10/25/2013 @ 12:55pm EDT Said:

Another week, more osu hate. How shocking. Penn states chance to win is if Braxton is worse than he was in the northwestern game (on the road). Everyone knows the osu d has some holes, trouble is you still have to stop Urbans offense and so far the only person to stop the offense is Braxton.

Mike S on 10/25/2013 @ 1:07pm EDT Said:

tOSU escapes with a close win. Iowa squeaks by without Coulter healthy.
Illinois upsets MSU and Huskers roll Gophers

Doug on 10/25/2013 @ 2:36pm EDT Said:

steve, you’re partly right, if not for a blown fumble call, MSU beats OSU last year, instead of a 1 pt defeat…

edthehead on 10/25/2013 @ 3:24pm EDT Said:

since my cristal ball is fuzzy, ill just say all green all day, nebraska takes a dive and osu gets first loss of the season by a feild goal

If Michigan State can generate any offense at all they should handle a decent Illinois squad. Northern Illinois is the king of the state of Illinois this year.

Steve on 10/27/2013 @ 12:29pm EDT Said:

Doug, was talking this year. Osu offense much more dynamic now that they’ve had another year in the system. So much for the penn st upset folks were calling for, haha
