U.S. Marine Corps: BTN.com Leaders of Week 8

Jeremy Gallon, WR, Michigan. Gallon had one of the most memorable individual performances in Big Ten history. The Wolverines' senior wideout had 14 catches for 369 yards and two touchdowns. His 369 receiving yards is both a school and Big Ten record. Gallon was 36 yards shy of breaking the all-time receiving yards record in a single game, which was set by Troy Edwards of Louisiana Tech back in 1998.

Devin Gardner, QB, Michigan. Like his fellow teammate, Gardner also had a record-setting day in the Wolverines 63-47 thrilling win over Indiana. Gardner passed for a career-high 503 yards in the game, which is a Michigan single-game record. The Wolverines' junior signal caller also rushed for 81 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

Tre Roberson, QB, Indiana. Roberson was outstanding in the Hoosiers 63-47 loss to Michigan. He came in relief of starting quarterback Nate Sudfeld and threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Roberson also added 50 yards and a touchdown on the ground in the Hoosiers loss.

Max Bullough, Denicos Allen and Taiwan Jones, LBs, Michigan State. This trio was exceptional in the Spartans 14-0 victory over Purdue. The group combined for 24 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a touchdown. Bullough led the way with a game-high 10 tackles and a forced fumble, while Allen had the fumble recovery and a touchdown in the Spartans win.

Jake Rudock, QB, Iowa. Rudock did everything in his power to keep Iowa in the game against No. 4-ranked Ohio State. The Hawkeyes' sophomore quarterback completed 19-of-34 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns in Iowa's 34-24 loss to the Buckeyes. Rudock's three touchdown passes in the game is a career-high.

Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State. The Buckeyes' bruising back had another standout game, this time in a 34-24 victory over Iowa. Hyde carried the ball 24 times for a game-high 149 yards and two touchdowns in the Buckeyes' win. Hyde has now totaled 317 rushing yards and five scores in the past two games.

Fitzgerald Toussaint, RB, Michigan. Just like his teammates Gardner and Gallon, Toussaint was outstanding in the Wolverines breathtaking 63-47 win over Indiana at the Big House. The Wolverines senior back rushed for a game-high 151 yards and four touchdowns in the victory. Both are season-highs for Toussaint.

Cody Latimer, Kofi Hughes and Shane Wynn, WRs, Indiana: This trio of wide receivers has been exceptional all season long. It was the same story this week as Latimer, Hughes and Wynn combined for 15 catches for 286 yards and four touchdowns in the Hoosiers 63-47 loss to Michigan. The group has combined for more than 1,400 receiving yards through seven games this season.

Melvin Gordon, James White and Corey Clement, RBs, Wisconsin. Is there a better running back trio in college football? The group combined for 321 total yards and seven touchdowns in Wisconsin's 56-32 win over Illinois. Gordon rushed for a game-high 142 yards and three touchdowns, White totaled 125 yards and three touchdowns, while Clement added 54 yards and a touchdown. This trio has now combined to rush for more than 2,000 yards and 23 touchdowns this season.

Braxton Miller, QB, Ohio State. Miller continues to impress this season and has put himself right back into the Big Ten Player of the Year conversation. Miller completed 22-of-27 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns in the Buckeyes 34-24 win over Iowa. Miller also added 102 yards on the ground in the victory.
