Huskers move up, Wildcats drop out of Coaches Poll

The latest Coaches Poll was released Sunday, and Northwestern dropped out following a frustrating Week 7 loss to Wisconsin. Nebraska moved up to No. 21 in the Coaches Poll after a 44-7 blowout victory over Purdue, while Michigan dropped from No. 16 to No. 24 after that 43-40 loss to Penn State in 4OT.

Ohio State stayed put, at No. 3. Wisconsin and Michigan State are the first two teams left out of the Coaches Poll.

After the Ohio State game, Cain Coulter said the team had “left it all out there on the field”. He was correct, because they had very little left in the tank against Wisconsin. I think Wisconsin was surprised by the ease of this win.
