Not about individuals, it’s about a team and the Gophers are playing better as a team than most in the Big Ten at this juncture in the road.

I agree, it is not about individuals, But Iowa is playing pretty well right now. Special teams. Run Game, Defense, And I would pick Iowa’s quarterback and receivers over Minnesota’s! The only thing Minnie’s got, is the hometown advantage.

None of the guys listed are going to be the focal point of who wins this game. It will honestly be a matter of whether or not Iowa’s defense is as good as statistics show. As a Hawkeye fan I am pressed to note that the Gophers interior defensive linemen are beast. Iowa will not run at will against these guys. The true question is can the Hawks stop that fantastic rush offense Minnesota has displayed to date. If Iowa can slow down their rush then I believe Iowa receivers become the focal point hince advantage Iowa. If Iowa can not dent the rushing attack of those Golden Gopher, then Floyd make the trip to Minnesota.

As a Gopher fan it is difficult to agree with Nick the Iowa fan but he is correct. The Gophers are running down hill and that’s to the credit of the O line and the anchor Jr. Zac Epping. Leidner is a big QB and has good speed to match the size. Bottom line: Floyd goes to MN.

I think the Hawks have more weapons beyond the rushing game than the Gophers. They have two good tight ends, a solid kicking game, and especially, super star in the making, Kevonte Martin Manley hauling it in from Jake Rudock, a fast learner who has “winner” written all over him. Minnie is hot, but the Hawks will come of age Saturday. Iowa 24, Minnesota 21.
