Huskers, Badgers drop out of Coaches Poll

The latest Coaches Poll was released Sunday, and Nebraska and Wisconsin both dropped out of the poll following frustrating Week 3 losses. The Huksers lost to UCLA, 41-21, despite jumping out to a 21-3 lead, while the Badgers lost a controversial 32-30 decision at Arizona State. Read more about the finish.

Michigan State makes its 2013 debut in the poll, at No. 24, after destroying Youngstown State, 55-17. Ohio State and Northwestern both stayed put, at No. 3 and No. 16, respectively.

They are lucky they didn’t drop more than that. They should give Akron a vote for being as good as they were. They were not the pushovers like Michigan thought they would be. I can’t believe Michigan paid Akron $900,000 dollars to play them. That is utterly disgusting. No wonder the fans have to pay through the nose for merchandise. I hope Michigan learned a very valuable lesson this past weekend. I hope the coaches take the blame for this mess themselves.
