There are ugly wins and there are ugly losses. Michigan avoided the latter by thwarting a potential last-second Akron touchdown to hold on for a narrow 28-24 win Saturday at Michigan Stadium. Watch the exciting and dramatic final play in this post.

That was close! Michigan, which committed four turnovers in the game, trailed late in the fourth quarter before Fitz Toussaint punched it in from two yards out to give the Wolverines the lead. But Akron wasn't done, and it drove all the way to the Michigan 1-yard line in the final seconds.

In the end, Kyle Pohl's pass to the end zone fell to the turf, and Michigan fans everywhere breathed a sigh of relief.
