Fumble on second down. Incomplete pass on third down. Leads to a Minnesota field goal. The Gophers trail 6-3 late in the first quarter.

Sean Merriman, BTN.com web editor August 29, 20137:23 pm

Nelson takes a shot downfield, throws into double coverage and the pass is picked off. Not the start Minnesota fans were looking for.

Touchdown UNLV. Missed extra point makes it 6-0 here early in the first quarter. Not a great start for the Gophers’ defense. Huge running lanes.
