No. 13: Tyler Scott, DE, Northwestern

Scott is coming off a breakout season for a Northwestern defense that teems with potential. The 6-4, 265-pound senior tied Ohio State's John Simon, the conference's defensive player of the year, for the most sacks (9) in the Big Ten, all while chipping in 42 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles. When it comes down to it, Scott's overall numbers were very comparable to Simon's. The senior's game is more about power and strength, but he has a deceptive first step that makes him a force off the edge.

View Scott's career stats:
2010 stats: 12 tackles; 3 TFL
2011 stats: 31 tackles; 3 TFL; 1 sack; 1 INT; 2 BU; 3 PD; 3 FR
2012 stats:
42 tackles; 12.5 TFL; 9 sacks; 5 BU; 5 PD; 3 FF
